Evening membership

We offer memberships on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2 PM and 8 PM.

The term is divided into two groups that meet every other week. To book, choose either Tuesday or Thursday and then select a group. You may register for one or both groups.

As a member, you will have access to your own shelf space, the pottery wheels (there are four wheels in the studio), and all studio tools.

Although the work is independent and prior ceramics knowledge is required, staff are always present to answer questions and provide tips. We do expect participants to be familiar with workshop safety in a ceramics studio. At the beginning of the term, we provide an introduction to safety and cleaning routines, as well as an overview of the tools.

The membership also includes themed evenings on the following topics:

  • how to recycle clay and make your own slip
  • how to create your own stamp
  • plaster mold making
  • experimenting with glazes

As a member, you also receive a 10% discount on Leera’s other courses.

Membership is limited to 14 people.

Everyone over the age of 16 is welcome.
